April 5, 2020 – The Manitoba Metis Federation wants to ensure that the Métis youth are staying connected and keeping involved in their Community while practicing social distancing.
Richard Genaille, MMF Minister of Sport and Youth and the Provincial Youth Advisory Committee are supporting all youth who are implementing measures to prevent the spread of this virus.
Staying home as much as possible is a challenge but it also provides a new opportunity for youth to engage with one another – virtually!
Your Métis government is encouraging youth to post a video that shares why it is important to stay home and practice social distancing and encourage other youth to do the same.
Social distancing doesn’t have to be solitary, connect with other youth and work together to flatten the curve. Send your video to our email youth.coordinator@mmf.mb.ca and upload it to your page with the hashtag #metisyouthstayhome!
